We took our orphaned friend(wife and kids in WA) to a fest Sunday: 1000 years of Holtzgerlingen. It's a town about 15 minutes from our house.

This was one of the "floats". Isn't Germany fun??? And yes, the boar is stuffed, not fresh.

Ava is learning how to swim!

Last Wednesday, Miss Ava took the "plunge" and decided to swim. So, she goes underwater and swims....REALLY! She can hold her breath, swim, touch the bottom, wear goggles....it's all so fun:*) We're very proud!
