A day in Speyer

Anne's brother-in-law Nate did a soccer exchange in the town of Speyer "a few years ago" and kept telling Anne and Ken how cool it was. Well, we all went today, and didn't see much, but we did see the "Winter ade" parade, which means So Long Winter. It was fun, and the best part was the end, when we walked to a park and watched the SchneeMann go up in flames. It got going so well, that they finally had to move the kids in the cardboard boxes away from the area....

A few notes about the photos....

We bought these sticks for the kids made by the old ladies. They're to stick pretzels on....
The tree people remind me of H.R. Puffenstuff.
The little girls are doing their "spring cleaning".
I liked the girl playing saxophone getting ready for holiday with a suitcase on her back.
